Aurobindo gets Canadian authorities' approval
HYDERABAD:
Aurobindo Pharma has received the certificate of compliance from the Canadian regulatory authority for Unit III for oral solid dosage forms and Unit VI for sterile and non-sterile cephalosporin dosage forms. Unit III located here is one of the key formulation manufacturing facilities and has four production blocks. Dedicated to products other than cephalosporins / penicillin's oral dosage formulations, the Unit III is also approved by the U.S. FDA, South African MCC, Brazilian ANVISA and UK MHRA. In addition, the unit holds ISO and approvals from several other countries. The Unit VI is situated in an 18-acre area and consists of five manufacturing blocks. Its oral dosage formulations are approved by many regulatory agencies apart from the Canadian authority, a press release said.
