VC to meet college heads
Anna University's Vice Chancellor, D. Viswanathan, is planning a series of meetings with college heads in a bid to smoothen relations between the university and the unaided colleges. Prof. Viswanathan would meet with chairpersons and principals of colleges in the southern districts at Madurai on Friday. Over the next few days he would meet the management representatives at Salem, Coimbatore and then at Chennai. He would take up the pending issues such as infrastructure problems, faculty strength and the need to upgrade technical education standards in the State. He would also seek support for his project to come up with computer-assisted teaching and learning aids to enhance the delivery of engineering courses.
