NEW DELHI: The Congress has convened a meeting between the Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief, K. Chandrasekhara Rao, and the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, here on July 20. The meeting to be held at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan here will discuss six issues concerning development of Telangana region raised by Mr. Rao. The issues likely to figure in these talks include the Pulichintala irrigation project whose site the TRS insists should be shifted and release of water to Krishna delta farmers that is objected to by the TRS. AICC general secretary, Digvijay Singh, said the party wanted the TRS to remain in the United Progressive Alliance.
