Leaders to ask for dismissal of all those involved in Volkswagen scam

HYDERABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch an agitation against the "corrupt rule" of the Congress Government in the State. Party leaders will shortly meet the Governor, Sushil Kumar Shinde, seeking "dismissal of all those involved in the Volkswagen scam".

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the BJP State president, N. Indrasena Reddy, alleged that the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was "involved" in the Volkswagen scam.

The Major Industries Minister, Botcha Satyanarayana, himself went on record stating that Dr. Reddy was in the know of everything and all decisions were taken after informing him.

He wanted cases to be booked against "main players" in addition to entrusting the affair to the CBI.
