BHOPAL: A two-day brainstorming session of the State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party begins on Friday at Pachmarhi, the erstwhile summer capital of Madhya Pradesh. Top State BJP leaders, including Chief Minister Babulal Gaur, State party president Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and former Union Ministers Sunderlal Patwa, Vikram Verma and Sumitra Mahajan, will be among the participants at the "Chintan Baithak". The purpose behind the retreat is an introspection and review of the performance of the party since it came to power in the State in 2003. According to a BJP functionary, nearly 60 State party representatives would be engaged in a marathon brainstorming session for two days. This would give them an opportunity to fine-tune the working of the party and work out a strategy to meet the hopes and aspirations of the people.
