LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday ruled out dissolution of the Assembly and holding of early elections. The Government would complete its full term and elections would be held at the right time, Mr.Yadav told reporters here without elaborating. Referring to the decision to convene a two-week Assembly session, he said it would debate among other things the terrorist attack in Ayodhya and the flood situation in the State. In reply to a question, he said, that the third front would be formed ``ultimately'' but ``it would take time''. The Samajwadi Party will play an important role in its formation, he said. He claimed that his party was growing in strength in the State while the base of the Congress and the BJP was shrinking. Asked for comments on the UP Sunni Waqf's decision claiming the Taj Mahal, he said as ASI has decided to challenge it. ``The court would now decide the matter,'' he said. The Chief Minister earlier presided over a meeting of the party's State office- bearers at the SP headquarters and asked them to closely work with the people. He said that some complaints had been received against the bureaucracy about its indifference towards problems of the people and warned that stern action would be taken against erring officials.
Securitymen lauded
Expressing confidence that the intelligence agencies would soon be able to expose the real hand behind the Ayodhya attack, Mr. Yadav the lauded securitymen for their quick response which foiled the bid on Ram Janambhoomi complex. ``Action against the terrorists was the quickest and they were gunned down before they could accomplish their nefarious designs,'' he said. Terrorism had become an international menace, the Chief Minister said and added that the attack would be discussed during the Assembly beginning on July 18. The Chief Minister said that the coming panchayat polls and Parliament session had necessitated the need for early session of the State Legislature.
