JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje, on Thursday denied any pressure from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on her to drop anyone from her team. "There is no pressure from any quarter on me to do anything in any manner,'' she said categorically while chatting with newspersons here. Ms.Raje, responding to a query from newspersons as to whether there was pressure from the RSS to drop two of her close associates, Satya Narain Gupta, chairman of the Public Grievances Redressal Committee, and Chandraraj Singhvi, chairman of the 20-Point Programme Implementation Committee, said such reports were part of media moonshine.
Relations
"You all know I have always had best of the relations with the Sangh,'' Ms.Raje, who has proven her expertise in the balancing act between the RSS and Bharatiya Janata Party during her 18 years as Chief Minister in Rajasthan, said. Rumours of dropping certain persons and inducting some others are already afloat in the State as a Cabinet expansion is seemingly on the anvil.
