Power theft

South enforcement squad of Chennai enforcement division detected a case of power theft by `illicit tapping' at a domestic connection in Medavakkam. The board deducted Rs. 69, 471 towards loss sustained due to power theft. Information about energy theft could be passed on to the executive engineer (enforcement) by calling 94440 85459.
