Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
Three persons, including a woman, were arrested on the charge of possessing forged travel documents at Begumpet airport in the early hours of Thursday.
Shamim, 40, attempted to fly to America carrying a passport with a false name, R. Kanakaiah, 25, and Mohd. Rasheed, 28, were remanded to judicial custody.
A beautician, Shamim of Nethajinagar in Chirag Ali Lane, was carrying a passport with the false name Rohini Jaiswal.
The immigration authorities grew suspicious when she could not answer some queries and caught her minutes before boarding the flight.
Kanakaiah and Rasheed flew to Dubai four days ago possessing passports in the names of Abdul Lateef and Ahmed respectively. They returned to Hyderabad, as their agent could not provide them with jobs there.
Both hail from Bowenpally mandal of Kariminagar district.
