Flight to Siachen

A FIRST: Soldiers at Thoise airfield after their arrival by the first commercial flight to Siachen from New Delhi on Friday.

NEW DELHI: The Army on Friday commenced a chartered flight for soldiers serving on the Siachen glacier. The Jet Airways flight was flagged from here by Director General, Operational Logistics, Lt. Gen. P K Singh.
