THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Medical examination of candidates in the category `Persons with Disabilities' who figure in medical and engineering rank lists will be held at the office of the Director of Medical Education, Thiruvananthapuram, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. respectively on August 1.

The candidates should be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The allotment will be done on that day as per the recommendations of the medical committee. The candidate should bring along the admit card, the specified documents for proof of date of birth, mark list of qualifying examination and its copy and the pass certificate and the original of the disability certificate.

Candidates who have taken part in the ongoing CAP should bring with them the selection memo and the fee receipt.

NCC / sports quota

The allotment for NCC/sports quota seats for professional courses will be held on August 1 at the College of Engineering ( CAP venue) as per the schedule given below. The allotment for medical/B. Pharm courses will be held in the morning (beginning 8.45 a.m.) and that for engineering / architecture courses in the afternoon (beginning 1.45 p.m.).

For the NCC/ sports quota for the MBBS/BDS courses, only those candidates with medical rank till 6985 will be considered. The category list for these quotas has already been published.

Those candidates who have taken part in the ongoing CAP should bring their selection memo and fee receipt. Candidates will be given opportunity for giving higher order option, a pressnote issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations here on Saturday said.
