Nepal civic officials in Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: A three-member team of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is here on a week-long study of the accounting software and other developmental activities of the Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam.

The team members are Mahendra Lal Shresht, Head of the Finance Department of KMC, M. Bikash Chitrakar, Chief of Budget and Planning Section, and Shivraj Adhikari, Chief of Public Expenditure Section.

On Saturday they had a sitting with the Municipal Commissioner, N. Srikant, in his chambers, discussing the MCV's accounting procedure.

The MCV Additional Deputy Commissioner, P. Ashajyothi, the Deputy Commissioner (R), P.V.V.S.N. Murthy, the Examiner of Accounts, Mangapathi Rao, and the Secretary, N. Mohan Rao, were present.
