HYDERABAD:
The sensational robbery in Raja Nursing Home of S.R. Nagar was masterminded by an autorickshaw driver who used to drop passengers at the hospital frequently, the police reportedly found.
The alleged mastermind became familiar with the hospital's topography as he was regularly coming there, an officer associated with the investigation said. The driver joined hands with two offenders of Uttar Pradesh and two others from the city. He asked one of them to act as a patient to gain entry into the hospital and he would wait outside in the three-wheeler.
They collected gold and cash worth Rs. 4 lakhs from doctor couple Prasad and Aruna Devi at knifepoint and fled. Task Force officials rounded up the driver and one of his accomplices.
