Autorickshaw drivers take out rally against AIDS

KAKINADA: As part of the condom promotion programme launched by a voluntary organisation, condoms were distributed to autorickshaw drivers here.

The drivers in 16 autorickshaws took part in the HIV/AIDS rally. Addressing a meeting, M. Pavan Kumar, district AIDS Control Nodal Officer, advised the drivers to observe safe sex practices and disciplined life.

He said use of condoms would protect them from getting infected to the dreaded disease. The Municipal Health Officer, K. Srikarunamurthy, spoke.
