MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam stood at 117.9 feet with an inflow of 307 cusecs and a discharge of 600 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 29.72 feet with an inflow of 168 cusecs and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar storage stood at 2503 mcft. The Marunadanadi recorded 5 mm of rainfall followed by Periyar dam - 2 and Tekkadi 1 mm.
