Hero Honda posts higher sales and profit
CHENNAI:
Hero Honda Motors has reported a 7.5 per cent increase in its net profit for the quarter ended June 30 at Rs. 204.4 crore against Rs. 190 crore in the same period last year.
The turnover jumped by 15 per cent to Rs. 2,007.6 crore from Rs . 1,745.2 crore in the period under reference. ``With the first quarter ending, I feel we have made a good beginning to the current financial year... We are confident that with the support of our customers and business associates, we would be able to continue on the growth path in the coming months as well,'' Hero Honda Motors Chairman, Brijmohan Lall, said.
