The Collector, K. Nanda Kishore, turned a teacher at the function to inaugurate the eighth planetarium programme `Saturn, the lord of the rings' at the Anna Science Centre-Planetarium in Tiruchi on Tuesday. He posed many questions to kindle the scientific temper among students. Mr. Kishore flung questions like what is the strength of members of the solar family? What is the velocity of light? What is the only thing, which is constant in the universe, according to the great scientist Albert Einstien? The Collector and the Executive Director of the Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre, P. Iyamperumal, and the Project Director of the Anna Science Centre, R. Madhavan, appreciated the students for giving the right answer. The final question posed by Mr. Kishore was `what is the time taken for light to travel from sun to earth? Before the Collector could complete the question, pat came the reply from one of the students: "it is eight minutes and 30 seconds." Delighted by the correct answer, Mr. Kishore presented a special prize to S. Zubair Ahamed, a standard VIII student of Samad Higher Secondary School.
