Halappa and Lakra among probables

NEW DELHI: Arjun Halappa and Bimal Lakra, two of Indian Airlines players who were initially left out of the probables' list for the Rabobank tournament in Amstelveen, have been brought back for the national camp at Chandigarh starting on Wednesday.

The Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) on Tuesday released a list of 26 players for the camp including the Punjab Police players, Kanwalpreet Singh and Gagan Ajit Singh, whose suspensions had been reduced following an appeal.

The Amstelveen tournament is from August 14 to 21.

The list of campers: Devesh Chauhan, Bharat Chhetri, Maninder Singh, Dilip Tirkey, Kanwalpreet Singh, Harpal Singh, Muthuselvan, Viren Rasquinha, Ignace Tirkey, Prabhdeep Singh, Bimal Lakra, Jaswinder Singh, Devinderpal Singh, Arjun Halappa, Didar Singh, Girish Pimpale, Deepak Thakur, Gagan Ajit Singh, Prabhjot Singh, Ravipal Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Rajpal Singh, Davinder Singh, Navpreet Singh, Raghunath and Gurtejpreet Singh.

Coaches: Rajinder Singh Jr. (chief coach), Narinder Pal Singh and Romeo James. Trainer: Sampath Kumar.
