SRIKAKULAM: Congress workers led by Palasa-Kasibugga municipal chiarman, V.Babu Rao, burnt effigies of the TDP leaders Kinjarapu Yerrannaidu, MP, Kinjarapy Acheyya Naidu, MLA and Tammineni Sitaram district unit TDP chief at the Seven Roads junction and near the statue of TDP founder, N.T.Rama Rao, on Tuesday. This was in retaliation to the TDP cadre burning the effigies of Minister, Dharmana Prasada and his brother Dharmana Krishan Das, on Monday, alleging harassment of fair price shop dealers belonging to TDP. They asserted that officials had taken action against the dealer and the Minister and the MLA had no hand in that.
