Vyalikaval Inspector suspended

BANGALORE:
The Commissioner of Police, Ajai Kumar Singh, on Tuesday placed the Vyalikaval Inspector, K. Seshadri, under suspension for allowing another live band joint to function in violation of rules.
Dr. Singh suspended Mr. Seshadri after a police team on Monday found a live band joint functioning at Diamond Diet Bar and Restaurant in Guttahalli without possessing a license. The police team arrested nine artistes and the proprietor of the joint.
On Monday, Mr. Seshadri was served with a charge memo after a team, led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Seshadripuram), M.N. Indira, on Sunday raided a live band joint in Vyalikaval and arrested six artistes and the proprietor of the joint.
