Robbery: four held

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Four persons who waylaid a man and robbed him of his cash and mobile phone near RMS Junction were arrested by the Thampanoor police on Monday. The arrested persons are Jamsheer, 20; Nazar, 30; Babu alias Feroz, 20, and Biju 19. All the four except Biju hail from Kozhikode. Biju is a resident of Kundara. According to the police, Sheriffudeen, 30, a resident of Pathanamthitta, was escorted to an isolated place by one of the gang members in the pretext of seeking acquaintance and later robbed.
