Rupee moves up against $

MUMBAI: The rupee on Wednesday rallied against the U.S. currency on the back of sustained strong foreign institutional investment inflows into the vibrant economy, even as trade remained range-bound ,at the interbank foreign exchange market.

Resuming on a positive note at 43.53/54 a dollar, the rupee gradually firmed up to 43.51/52 at close, a three paise gain from Tuesday's finish of 43.5400/5450, dealers said. — PTI
