KSFE employees strike work

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The employees of the Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE) resorted to pen-down strike from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday to protest against the suspension of 13 managers by the management for participating in the token of July 11 to press demands, including pay revision.

The employees also took out marches and organised dharnas in the district centres.

In Thiruvananthapuram, the action was organised before the regional office of the institution. General secretary of the KSFE Staff Association K.Vijayan alleged that it was part of a move to force the employees to agitate and thereby destroy the financial institution, which was functioning profitably.
