Kerala Congress(Jacob) leader T.M. Jacob has emerged as the dark horse of the Opposition within a very short time. After crossing over to the LDF camp, Mr. Jacob has been in the forefront in training guns on the UDF, especially Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. He has also succeeded in taking the House by storm many a time. Quite often, Mr. Jacob's performance on the floor has put in the shade even the CPI(M) members who are considered the most vociferous critics of the Government. By aligning with National Congress(I) leader K. Karunakaran, this vocal MLA from Piravom constituency has filled the void left in the House by the nine members who quit to join the new party.
