Administrator assumes charge

BIJAPUR: On the direction of Government, the Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Mohsin, took the reins of the Bijapur Urban Development Authority, as an administrator on Thursday.

Mr. Mohsin, who arrived at the BUDA office few minutes before the office closure, took charge from the non-official head, Gulappa Shetgar. Mr. Shetgar was appointed three months before the previous general elections.

The BUDA Commissioner, Beerendra Pujari, was present on the occasion.
