Airtel launches wireless network data card

CHENNAI: Airtel on Thursday announced the launch of the Airtel wireless Data Card which will enable anytime, anywhere instant wireless Internet connectivity for laptops and other computing devices. The card is being launched simultaneously in 13 cities. It is GPRS and EDGE compatible, works on Airtel networks across the country and also when roaming internationally on GSM networks. On EDGE enabled networks, it will offer speeds of up to 100 Kbps, says a company release.
