3 pseudo naxals held at Madanapalle

CHITTOOR: The Madanapalle urban Circle Inspector, T. Sarkar, along with Sub-Inspectors Adinarayana and M. Chandrasekhar arrested three pseudo naxalites --Nagarjuna Reddy (30), E. Eswar Reddy (34), and B. Chandrasekhar (45)-- at Madanapalle on Thursday, said V.V. Gopal Krishna, Superintendent of Police.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that six tapanchas, two revolvers, 23 0.12 bore cartridges, 0.32 calibre cartridges, six letter pad books on the name of PWG and six olive green uniforms with caps were seized from them. According to the information, they were extorting money from the people threatening on the name of Peoples War in and around Madanapalle.

The Superintendent of Police complimented the police officials and suitably rewarded them.
