BSF jawan cremated

CUDDAPAH: A Border Security Force jawan, P. Rudra Reddy, who died on duty at Ajmer in Rajasthan, was cremated at Yerraguntla, with military honours on Thursday.

Twelve military officials fired three rounds each in the air as a mark of respect. Earlier, military officials brought the body by a special aircraft from Bangalore. The Yerraguntla Circle Inspector, Muniramaiah, handed over Rudra Reddy's body to his family members and offered condolences. The Yerraguntla MRO, Srinivasulu, ZPTC member, Raja Reddy and others attended the funeral.
