`Nati vota' competitions

MADIKERI: The 14th annual State-level "Nati vota"' competitions will be held at Kaggodlu, near here, on August 13, the president of the Kodagu District Yuva Okkoota, Girish Talatmane, said here on Thursday.

Speaking to presspersons, Mr. Talatmane said the events to be held in the slushy paddy wetlands, will begin with volleyball competitions for men. It will be followed by a tug-of-war for men and women. Nati Vota sprint and relay competitions would begin at 2 p.m. It is open to primary, high school and college students in both categories, public and locals.
