NEW DELHI: India continued its relentless domination in the South Asian junior table tennis by ending the overseas challenge on the penultimate day at the NDMC Indoor Stadium here on Thursday. In the absence of any meaningful opposition from their rivals from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives, the Indians tool all of the semifinal berths of the singles events after making the finals of all three doubles events. The only time an Indian sweep appeared in doubt was when Sri Lanka's Sukitha Wicramanayaka bounced back from 0-4 to make it 5-5 in the deciding game against an increasingly nervous Shubham Sharma in the cadet boys' final. But Shubham got it right when he needed to and completed a 9-11, 11-3, 11-6, 5-11, 11-8 triumph. A little later, Neha Aggarwal tamed Divya Deshpande in straight games to claim the cadet girls' title.
