MAHABUBNAGAR: Reproductive Child Health Project II(RCH-2) would be implemented in the district to improve heath indicators, according to the Commissioner Family Welfare and ex-officio secretary, Medical and Health Department, C.B.S. Venkataramana. Addressing a workshop on RCH-2 here on Wednesday the Commissioner said that the project would be implemented in select districts with an amount of Rs. 530 crores. Explaining about the aim of the project Mr. Venkataramana informed that steps would be taken to improve basic health indicators including reduction in infant mortality rate, maternal mortality rate and improve institutional deliveries . The Commissioner also said that rural emergency health transport project would be operated by RCH-2 and workshops would be conducted in each and every village on health issues.
