How healthy is your heart? Women in Ashok Nagar Club had a chance to find answers at a free heart check-up camp organised in connection with its tenth anniversary.
Hosted by Saffola Healthy Heart Foundation, the camp carried out tests such as Bone Density Test, ECG, blood sugar, blood pressure and Body Mass Index.Actress Deepa Venkat and police inspector S. Flora Jayanthi were among those who lined up for the tests.
Saugata Gupta from the Foundation said the greatest concern regarding heart disease was that majority of men and women were ignorant about the risk factors.
The Foundation plans to conduct similar heart screening camps in Chennai.
