MBBS seat allotment for reservation categories on July 23

Telegrams have been sent to candidates

CHENNAI: Counselling for beneficiaries of the 50 per cent Rule of Reservation ordered by the Supreme Court will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Those who have marks in the range of 296.75 to 295.92 out of 300 are eligible. The 50 per cent reservation rule order pertains to other community candidates not selected under the 69 per cent rule in Tamil Nadu Government medical colleges.

The allotment of medical seats in self-financing medical colleges (IRT Perundurai Medical College, Perundurai and PSG Medical College, Coimbatore) and B.D.S seats in Tamil Nadu Government Medical College will be done on Sunday as per the following schedule: OC-9 a.m. (295.83 to 294.58 marks) B.C-11 a.m. (294.58 to 294.16 marks), M.B.C-12.30 p.m. (292.67 to 291.75 marks) S.C-1.30 p.m. (286.58 to 284.42 marks) and S.T-2.30 p.m. (275.08 to 273.16 marks).

Telegrams have been sent to eligible candidates and those who have not received the telegrams can still attend counselling, provided their total marks fall within the specified range, according to a press release here. More information can be had from www.tnhealth.org.
