Madras varsity to conduct Bharatanatyam course

CHENNAI:
The University of Madras has invited applications for its newly-introduced M.A programme in Bharatanatyam under private study.
The programme would benefit teachers-cum-performers who have been teaching Bharatanatyam for many years and professional performers, a press release here said. Graduates in any discipline who have been performing for ten years or have ten years of teaching experience or have been doing both or those who have a diploma in dance or any other equivalent diploma are eligible to apply. Candidates should have completed 35 years as on July 1. More details can be had from www.unom.ac.in.
