Role reversal

Call it sheer coincidence or irony of sorts. This is the mother of all role reversals. Nannapaneni Rajakumari and Ganga Bhavani share this unique (or is it dubious) distinction of swapping roles.

While the former left the Congress and joined the Telugu Desam Party and went on to become the president of its women's wing, the latter went the opposite route. Deserting the TDP she joined the Congress before her elevation to the post of the president of Andhra Pradesh Mahila Congress this week.

Incidentally, both began their political careers in the TDP!
