STARRY TOUCH: Chiranjeevi poses for the media after being announced brand ambassador for Emami at a function in Hyderabad on Thursday.
HYDERABAD: A product that is soothing and cool that is the brand promise of Himani Navratna oil. A calm and confident personality is how mega star Chiranjeevi is described often. And bringing them together is the Emami Group of Companies, the personal beauty and healthcare major. "We are privileged to have Telugu film industry's numero uno star Chiranjeevi as our brand ambassador," said Director of Emami Group Harsha V.Agarwal here on Thursday. "Chiranjeevi who rose to super stardom with hard work and discipline also has immense knowledge of herbs and their medicinal properties. We would not have got a more suitable personality to endorse our product," he said. Chiranjeevi said it was remarkable for a company promoting Indian heritage to make an international mark in a mere span of 30 years. Like always, the endorsement money would go to his charitable trust and would be spent on providing eyesight to about 1,000 persons in two years and developing the eye bank. Emami already has cricket star Saurav Ganguly, Bollywood stars Sunny Deol, Govinda, Madhuri Dixit as their ambassadors while Amitabh Bachchan is their national brand ambassador.
