Two directors of Viniv Inc. surrender

BANGALORE: Two directors of Viniv Inc. group of companies surrendered before the city police even as more complaints were lodged against some of the companies.

The Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), M.C. Narayanagowda, gave the names of the two directors who surrendered as Murali Krishna and R. Krishnamurthy. The two are the directors of Viniv Inc Souharda Cooperative.

Nearly 3,400 complaints were lodged with the Central Police Station till Thursday. A cell has been set up at the Central Police Station to handle the case.

About 30 affected people visited the office of Mr. Narayanagowda and narrated the problems they were facing. They urged the officer to help them get their money back. "It was greed that made us invest our hard earned money with the firms. Please help us get back our money. We do not want any interest on it," an elderly woman told Mr. Narayanagowda.

Police team in Chennai

A city police team is in Chennai in pursuit of the chief promoter of Viniv Inc. group of companies, K.N. Sreenivasa, and one of its directors, Lokesh.

Firm to return money

Another such firm, "investTECH" in Domlur, which was raided by the police on Monday, has said that investments made by its clients will be returned to those who want to withdraw their money from Monday.

It is said that "investTECH" had lent money to Mr. Sreenivasa of Viniv Inc.
