GUNTUR: An irrigation tank in Garikipadu village in Bollapalli mandal of Guntur district breached on Thursday following heavy flows into the 130-acre water body after heavy rain in the catchment area. The tank bund that was repaired with an investment of Rs.22 lakhs two years ago, gave way resulting in the tank getting emptied.
