THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nearly 400 students of the Law Academy Law College staged a protest in front of the Peroorkada police station on Thursday evening demanding the arrest of those responsible for the armed attack on Anish, 24, a final-year law student. According to the police, Anish was attacked by a four-member gang wielding swords in front of the college canteen at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday. In his statement to the police, Anish said that a woman faculty member of the college instigated the attack. Anish had accused the faculty member of threatening him with physical violence when he questioned the manner in which internal assessment marks were awarded to certain students, an official said.
