Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nearly 400 students of the Law Academy Law College staged a protest in front of the Peroorkada police station on Thursday evening demanding the arrest of those responsible for the armed attack on Anish, 24, a final-year law student. According to the police, Anish was attacked by a four-member gang wielding swords in front of the college canteen at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday.

In his statement to the police, Anish said that a woman faculty member of the college instigated the attack.
