VISAKHAPATNAM: The Rotary Club, Visakha Port City, as a part of its literacy promotion programme for the current month, has identified 90 poor students from the Municipal Elementary School, Jagannadharajunagar, Venkojipalem. The President of the club, Kantipudi Venkateswara Rao, at a function organised to mark Gurupournami, said identified students would be provided books and clothes. Besides, merit scholarships would be given with contributions from Rotarians. The Principal, Vimala Kumari, thanked the club for the help and lauded its efforts to help students. The club's Director, Community Services, Janakiraman and secretary, G. Viswanath, participated.
