NEW DELHI: The wife of Naveen Ahuja, who had allegedly shot her in the head and then thrown his two minor children from his seventh floor flat at Dwarka in South-West Delhi three days ago, succumbed to her injuries on Thursday. According to the police, Meenu Ahuja, who had sustained a gunshot injury in her head, died around 11 a.m. in Apollo Hospital where she was admitted for the past three days. She had slipped into coma after being shot and the bullet had remained lodged in her head. Naveen, who used to run a sweets shop in Satya Niketan near Dhaula Kuan, had allegedly shot Meenu and killed his two children, Manav and Manavi, purportedly because he had come under heavy debt running into several lakhs. He had also allegedly tried to kill his mother and sister but the gun jammed after which he took an attempt on his own life. He also purportedly tried to kill himself but the gun again did not go off.
