Kancheepuram wins title

TIRUCHI: Kancheepuram scored a comfortable five wicket win over the title-holder Tiruvallur district to win the title at the Boost Cricket Cup inter-district under-15 years cricket tournament at the Saranathan Engineering College ground here on Sunday.

Tiruvallur 94 in 39 overs (Karthic Adithya 27, Krish Shri Shak three for 20, Vijay Shankar three for 16) lost to Kancheepuram 95 for five in 48.3 overs (Vijay Shankar 32, G. R. Jayanth 34, B. Aparajith three for 14).
