Bhaskar Rao an entrepreneur who brought to Hyderabad its first revolving restaurant above the five star hotel, Bhaskar Palace, built in 1989 (later converted to Care Hospitals in 2000) is the man behind J.B Educational Society. JBES was started with an aim to build educational institutions, which provide quality education in Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Managemet, Hotel Management and Information Technology. The society started JB Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in the year 1993, which is presently located next to JBIET, it offers a three-year degree course in BHMCT. Gokul Institute of technology and sciences NRI Engineers and Doctors from USA and Singapore promote Gokul Institute of technology and sciences established in 2000 by Late Kanjerla Lakshminarayana Yadav former Minister Govt. of A.P. is promoted by NRI Engineers and Doctors from USA and Singapore. Gokul achieved an ISO 9001-2000 certification in the first year of establishment for the infrastructure and high qualified faculty from IIT/REC and other reputed universities. Many students of the institute are from Singapore, West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Assam, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Andaman Nicobar islands.
