Megasoft, NIIT enter into tie-up

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: Megasoft, a Chennai-based technology company operating in the telecom technology and IT services, has tied up with Accelerated-NIIT (A-NIIT) to provide placements for fresh software graduates.

The tie-up forms part of a process of putting together a team in Chennai. The firm has around 250 staffers in Hyderabad.

Megasoft has been signing up software graduates towards the end of their course and providing candidates orientation in high-end technology at specialised training institutes.

Though Megasoft has been adopting campus interviews across institutions, it has been encouraged by the quality of the NIIT output to go in for a full-scale tie-up, a spokesman said.

Megasoft offers top performing students an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies apart from refunding their course fee.

The selected students undergo rigorous one-month training in latest telecom technologies before becoming a part of Megasoft.
