ANANTAPUR: A TDP follower and one of the five persons who was acquitted in a murder case by a court recently G. Nageswara Reddy (40) of Alur village in Tadipatri rural mandal hanged himself in his house on Monday allegedly due to police harassment. "Police pestering and fear of torture has forced my brother to take the extreme step," Reddy's elder sister Ramanamma told presspersons at the village on Monday. Tadipatri rural CI M. Vijaya Kumar said no policeman harassed Reddy.
