Nihon Pharma launches diabetes drug

NEW DELHI: Ranbaxy Laboratories on Monday said Nihon Pharmaceuticals Industry (NPI), a joint venture between the company and Nippon Chemiphar, has launched its first co-developed product Vogseal tablets in Japan. The product, used for the treatment of diabetes, will be sold in Japan under the Ranbaxy or NPI label and marketed by the field forces of Nippon Chemiphar and NPI, Ranbaxy informed the BSE.
