Advocates plan stir

MADURAI: MADURAI: Following an unconfirmed information that the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court will lose jurisdiction over Tiruchi, Thanjavur and Karur, the Madurai Bench High Court Advocates Association on Tuesday resolved to stage a demonstration on the Bench premises on Wednesday.The extraordinary general body meeting of the association has sent a representation to the Chief Justice, Markandey Katju, requesting him to drop the proposal, if any.
