Meeting the demand for HR professionals

CHENNAI: The Madras School of Social Work will step up its output of Human Resource professionals to meet the growing demand for high quality HR specialists through a newly launched stream, the MA in Human Resources Management.

The full-time two-year course will cover managerial concepts, organisational behaviour, human resources management, change management strategies, industrial relations and research methodology.

According to experts, the ideal HR specialist-workers ratio in an IT or ITES industry is one for every 250 persons.
