Fast-touch typing

MANY WHO work for long hours on computer keyboards end up suffering from what is called "repetitive stress injury". Put simply, aching wrists. Not to speak of eyestrain and pain in the neck and back.

H.M. Arun Kumar, who figures in the Limca Book of Records for high-speed typing, has set out to train youngsters in the age-old technique of fast-touch typing which he says can take the pressure off their wrists. Along with proper positioning of the computer and ergonomic seating, nobody need suffer from "repetitive stress injury", he claims. Well, the computer keyboard is no different from that of the old typewriter, is it?
