Tara honoured

ACTOR TARA, who played the woman protagonist in "Haseena" and won the best artiste award at the national level, has become a household name here.

So much so that the residents of Jogupalya led by their corporator, B.M. Mangala, made the ward-level Kempegowda Day celebrations memorable by honouring Tara.

A group of residents went to Tara's house and presented her with a bouquet, a shawl and a "Kempegowda" memento. Though the felicitation was part of the Kempegowda Day celebrations, it definitely gave a "filmi" twist to the whole affair.
